Synopsis :

AD notes :
Apart from all the difficulties that come with shooting a period show in a big city as Paris, the detail I’d like to share is not really a difficulty, just a different way of shooting. We had a few shooting days when the director of the Block 1 would start the day, then in the afternoon the director of Block 2 would take over, with the same crew. I’d would also have some days off in the schedule, when the director of Block 1 was shooting the scenes for his episodes.
We also have some scenes in German. It’s always challenging to shoot in language we don’t speak, even though we had the in German translations of the dialogues and a translator on the set.
It was a great pleasure to work on this show with a very talented cast and director. I hope you’ve seen it and enjoyed it.

The biggest challenges for me were the days we had scenes with a large amount of extras.
It was a very fun experience. We had very different mood and ambiance, spanning over a decade. We could have drug filled night club scene with 150 half-naked extras that we had make dance for 8 hours one day. And the next day a very classy fashion show.
