AD notes :

What was especially difficult or challenging ?

  • The period aspect was certainly a large part of the process. extras, and locations was a challenge in and of itself. All elements were critical… making changes was not easy or cheap. Important.
  • Getting ahead of the work with the art dept,
  • The production was large, so being prepared for
  • Prep and communication was hugely

Working in Italy, with an Italian crew, is a wonderful thing. From production to costumes / hair and makeup to grip / electric to art, the process was a magical one. The care and emotion of the script was easily matched (surpassed even) by the Italian crew. The production would felt very, very different and odd had we not had an almost exclusive makeup of Italian crew members.
